Anders Nesse: Striving for (V)excellence with the best products and people

Professionality, quality, service.

What motivated you to become a Vexcel sales partner?

Jukka Hakala from Finland and Terenzio Mariani from Italy inspired me to become a Vexcel Sales Partner. These two are true role models in the industry. Additionally, I’m driven by a passion for working with the best products and collaborating with top-tier professionals—values that Vexcel perfectly represents!

What do you like most about the partnership with Vexcel?

On a personal level, I deeply value their honesty. When it comes to their products, I admire the exceptional quality and their constant innovation in technology.

How would you describe working with Engelbert Breg?

Engelbert Breg embodies reliability in every sense. He is both solid and genuine, representing what we refer to as "whole wood." As a true expert, he consistently delivers well-founded answers with confidence and ease.

We would love to hear about the most memorable experience you’ve had with the UltraCam family!

One of my most memorable moments was working with the first dataset from an UltraCam digital camera in the early 2000s. I was amazed by the sharpness and detail captured from an aircraft—something truly groundbreaking at the time.

What are the challenges and opportunities in your territory?

There is a growing demand for more frequent, accurate data, particularly orthophotos and elevation models. Many now see that images provide much more than a visual record. By comparing historical aerial images with new data, we can observe the impacts of climate change, shifts in biodiversity, and landscape evolution over time.

Looking out 3 to 5 years, what do you think will be the next big change in the geospatial industry?

The industry is moving toward greater digitalization. We’ll see more automation, the rise of machine learning, and a shift from traditional analog stereomapping to fully automated digital twins, created from high-resolution aerial imagery.
