Introducing the new Unit Lifter Pro

Vexcel Imaging introduces the Unit Lifter Pro, a practical tool designed to elevate and lower UltraCam systems during aircraft operations. By lifting UltraCam systems during takeoff and landing, the Unit Lifter Pro provides critical protection for lenses and LiDAR glass, shielding them from dust, oil, and insects that could compromise data quality.

Once in flight, the UltraCam is lowered to avoid image occlusions caused by the aircraft’s fuselage—especially crucial for systems like the UltraCam Dragon 4.1, where oblique cones are positioned on the outer edges of the camera cylinder.

The Unit Lifter Pro is available in four models, each designed to accommodate 4th generation UltraCam systems with payload capacities ranging from 51 kg to 76 kg. It seamlessly integrates with UltraMount stabilization systems and features three lifting positions, ensuring the safe collection of high-quality, unobstructed imagery. This practical solution reduces the need for repeat flights, lowers maintenance costs, and delivers optimized survey performance.
