Two new UltraCams released
Tech Talk | Ep. 1 | Webinar: UltraCam Osprey 4.2 and UltraMap v6.6
On July 8, 2025, we hosted the very first session of our new Tech Talk webinar series, focusing on the UltraCam Osprey 4.2 and the latest UltraMap v6.6 release.
During the session, we took a deep dive into how the Osprey 4.2, featuring the powerful 247 MP Sony IMX811 CMOS sensor, delivers up to 27% more flight line efficiency while maintaining exceptional image quality. Marc Muick presented key performance improvements and gave insights into the new sensor technology.
We also introduced the major enhancements in UltraMap v6.6, with Bernhard Schachinger showcasing significant updates to the DTM generation and 3D module, improved accuracy, and new export capabilities, including support for Cesium 3D Tiles.
