UltraMap & UltraCam Merlin: A powerful combination (Tech Talk EP. 4 | Webinar)
On May 21, 2026, we hosted another episode of our Tech Talk webinar series, highlighting the powerful synergy between UltraMap and UltraCam Merlin.
In this 50-minute session, viewers were taken on a deep dive into UltraMap’s workflow using UltraCam Merlin 5.0 data. The webinar demonstrated how the combined solution supports efficient, high-quality photogrammetric processing — from data capture to final output.
During the webinar, Bernhard Schachinger, Head of Applied Photogrammetry - Data & Workflow, presented an overview of UltraMap’s modular architecture and explored key capabilities such as advanced water handling, command-line automation, and extended GPU support. He also explained how True Pixel Processing (TPP) enhances Bayer-pattern data to deliver consistent, high-quality image results.
The webinar, moderated by Angelika Söls, Head of Marketing, concluded with a live Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions directly to Bernhard Schachinger and Alexander Wiechert, CEO of Vexcel Imaging.
