GRAZ, AUSTRIA
We are pleased to announce the release of an UltraCam Dragon 4.2 sample data set, featuring high-resolution aerial imagery and LiDAR data captured over Graz, Austria. Acquired in May 2026, the data set showcases the performance of the UltraCam Dragon 4.2 f50 hybrid mapping system and provides an excellent opportunity to evaluate image and point cloud quality in a complex urban environment.
The sample data was captured at a flight altitude of 900 meters AGL with a ground sample distance (GSD) of 5 cm and a point density of 30 points/m² per flight line. Covering the city of Graz, the data includes dense urban structures, historic buildings, vegetation, and water surfaces, allowing users to assess data quality across a variety of mapping scenarios.
Download the data from our FTP server or contact our sales team to request access and experience the capabilities of the UltraCam Dragon 4.2 firsthand.
Imagery Data, processed using UltraMap: The imagery was captured with the UltraCam Dragon 4.2 f50 at a GSD of 5 cm. Flight planning included 80% forward overlap and 60% side overlap for nadir imagery.
LiDAR Data, processed using RIEGL RiProcess and Terrasolid TerraScan: The integrated LiDAR data delivers a point density of 30 pts/m² per flight line, providing detailed surface information suitable for terrain modeling, feature extraction, and geospatial analysis.
