rectangular PAN channel

The rectangular PAN channel produces highly accurate DSMs, DTMs and ortho images through dense matching. All needed data can be derived from a single Condor 4.1 flight.

Amount of pixel across the flight strip

With an impressive across-track footprint of 48,462 pixels, the UCC 4.1 has a very wide, high-resolution RGB array resulting in a high flying efficiency.

collection of larger regions in record time

The UCC 4.1 enables the collection of larger regions - such as countries or even continents - in record time and generates images of highest quality standards.

Airborne system with very fast frame rate

The CMOS-based architecture enables a fast frame rate of 1 frame per 0.7 seconds, allowing customers to operate the system reliably with jets and turboprops at fast speeds.

Oblique imagery with high dynamic range of this aerial camera

4th generation superior data quality.
The UltraCam Condor 4.1 boasts completely new electronics to manage the extensive amount of data collected by the CMOS sensors and still maintain outstanding image dynamic. New temperature-controlled lenses—designed solely for Vexcel Imaging—ensure imagery of exceptional sharpness, resolution, and contrast.

Taking wide-area mapping to new levels.
The expansive across-track footprint allows for record flying efficiency while delivering utmost resolution.

Adaptive Motion Compensation in all directions.
The innovative Adaptive Motion Compensation (AMC) method addresses motion blur caused by multi-directional camera movements during the flight. Utilizing a unique software-based approach is a game changer for the industry. The difference between no motion compensation and AMC is demonstrated in the picture below by moving the arrow to the left and right.

Backward compatibility with UltraMap.
The Condor 4.1 is fully integrated into the UltraMap workflow. Significant changes in the processing software allow better accommodate high-altitude data.

Yoeri Slagboom, UltraCam Condor cust

"We found that the Condor 4.1 offers the highest rate of production possible to cover an area for ortho imagery. The Condor’s fast frame rate enables us to operate the camera in a jet or a fast turboprop aircraft and shoot with 85% overlap. The capability for fast coverage of an area has become a valuable asset in times when recurrent data capture is demanded. The Condor is a perfect tool to combat traffic and weather challenges and capture excellent data on time."
