We are excited to announce the release of the first UltraCam Dragon 4.1 sample data set, featuring both aerial imagery and LiDAR data, ready for your exploration and analysis. The data set was captured in June 2024 at an altitude of 1000 meters AGL. The project area covers the heart of the UltraCam's home: the city center of Graz. This area is characterized by densely built-up sections, narrow streets, and buildings of various sizes and styles. Additionally, the data set includes diverse vegetation types found in parks and on Schlossberg, as well as water surfaces from the Mur River, which flows through Graz.
Download the data from our FTP server or contact our sales team to gain access. Expand your perception and discover the high data quality from the market’s most advanced and seamlessly integrated hybrid aerial mapping system.
Imagery Data, processed using UltraMap: The ground sample distance (GSD) is 5 cm (nadir), with an overlap of 80% forward and 60% sideways (nadir).
LiDAR Data, from the integrated RIEGL VQ-680 LiDAR Scanner processed using RiPROCESS: The laser power was set to 100%, with a pulse repetition rate of 2000 kHz, a scan rate of 375 lps, and a field of view (FOV) of 60°.
You have two options to verify the quality of the data:
We encourage you to delve into this data set to experience the exceptional quality and capabilities of the UltraCam Dragon 4.1. Whether you’re interested in raw data for complete processing control or ready-to-use processed data, this sample set provides valuable insights. Stay tuned for more updates and additional resources!
