Maja joined the Vexcel Data Program team in Graz in 2020 and in doing so, entered in a young and rapidly developing program that is chasing ambitious goals. Due to the very dynamic environment with a lot of everyday challenges, Maja climbed a steep learning curve in her first year and is happy that there is still so much interesting new knowledge to be gained. In her job, everything is about efficiency. In her daily work routine, Maja commits herself to constantly reviewing and adapting existing procedures and making them more efficient. Beyond that, she functions as a team lead and manages team projects. Currently, her main focus is preparing for the new (already begun) flying season and improving the production pipeline for faster data turnaround.

What she especially likes about her job is the international and diverse team she is working with and she finds being a team lead is a privileged role that she absolutely appreciates. In her spare time, she enjoys any physical activity in the great outdoors, be it hiking, mountaineering, biking, running in the forest, ski touring or gardening. She and her husband also love to take trips in their campervan ‘Flip,’ finding the feeling of freedom offered by a 'home on wheels' unbeatable. In calmer evenings, she loves to read or play board games and she hopes to find more time for playing the piano, salsa dancing and hopes to return to sewing again in the future.
