Marc studied Geospatial Technologies with a focus on remote sensing and has been working in support of our application team since 2013. As an application specialist, Marc has one main goal: to squeeze out every last bit of quality from our products on different levels, while trying to fit everything into the big picture. His working areas range from data quality control, high-level customer support, to working closely with different departments such as the Vexcel data program. His “pixelpeeping” mentality during quality control tasks lead to his company nickname “The Eye”, as dubbed by our CTO. Marc is more than happy to work for the leading provider of photogrammetric aerial cameras, which allows him to tap into his personal interests in photography, cameras, and aviation for his profession. But for him, there is still something more important about a job: being part of a fantastic team!
“Working hard, having fun, being tutored by world class experts, while creating a very complex, successful product. From my point of view this is what Vexcel is all about” concludes Marc. When it comes to his spare time activities, photography also figures prominently! “Photography and traveling are just an amazing combination to change your perspective and broaden your horizon. In the past, Marc has also competed in Archery competitions and in small regional tennis competitions. Nowadays, he really enjoys doing both just for fun and to stay fit. For him, the best way to relax and calm down includes good food, some hard 'n' heavy music, and being able to spend quality time with the love of his life and his family.
